SRM Color #1-9

Welcome to the first of three weeks of our SRM based series of themes. The Standard Reference Method is a color scale used to assess beer either by eye or with a spectrophotometer. Useful in judging how well a beer meets style guidelines, many brewing recipes will list an expected range to let you know what to expect and help brewers determine if their batch came out as it should.

So this week we are starting with the lightest beer styles falling within the SRM range of 1-9. Let’s see what we tasted!
