Its time one of our most dedicated members to lead their own hosted class! This week Todd brought us beers from across the country, pop quizzing us before each one to test our knowledge of beer, states, and and other fun trivia. Prizes of beers and stickers accompanied each question as the rest of us fought to raise our hands first in an attempt to give the correct answer.

In an excellent foray across the United States, Todd lead us in a tasting of beers from his many travels- enjoying some breweries that rarely make their way to our classes as well as some brand new additions to our list! He kept us lively and upbeat, happily discussing his pop quiz in between beers as we sipped.
And the winning beer this evening? That would be The Archetype from J. Wakefield in Miami, a decadent stroopwafel stout conditioned on caramel, chocolate, Tahitian vanilla, and stroopwafels. This beer maintained its balance without erring into the cloying sweetness so commonly encountered in the world of pastry stouts. Definitely a beer worthy of the taking home the win this evening!
