Part of a Series

When a brewery brews under a series that they have created and curated it is fun to imagine their vision in the brewing process as you enjoy the end result. Tonight’s class was all about tasting and discussing beer series- some close to our heart for years and others brand new to the class.

And our winner this evening was the Strange Fascination by Celestial Beerworks. A delectable imperial stout aged for 14 months in a coconut rum barrels packed with 12 pounds of toasted coconut and a few pounds of vanilla beans for good measure. These adjuncts, along with the gorgeously smooth coconut notes from the barrel, give you your dessert in a glass- basically a liquid mounds bar!

Join us next week as we step out of craft beer for a moment to instead sample ciders and seltzers! Always fun to play around, especially on these to types of hard beverages that are definitely experiencing a resurgence in popularity in the last few years. Cheers!
